Formally we were  known as Incarnation Old Catholic Cathedral of the Old Catholic Church of North
America: Diocese of Forida.

We are now Incarnation Independent Catholic Cathedral, of the
Independent Catholic Church of North
America, Diocese of Florida

We are a  Spirit-filled Catholic community, combining the beauty of the ancient traditions of the Church with
the freshness of life in the Spirit.   Communion is open to all baptized Christians. Our desire is to see unity
within the Body of Christ as we come together around the central focus of Christianity--
Our wish is to
provide a place for those lacking a spiritual home. Our mission is to serve Our Lord and His people by
spreading the Good News of the Gospels and providing the Eucharist to all baptized Christians. We retain
the basic Catholic beliefs of Faith, Love, Spirituality, Prayer and the importance of the Sacraments. We
also acknowledge that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.

We are a community which practices our traditional Catholic Faith which is, however, free from the
jurisdictional restrictions of the Vatican.  While we may not be in "perfect communion" with the Roman
Church, the Vatican has declared in its historic Dominus Iesus (paragraph 17) that Churches like ours are
"true, particular Churches" because we have maintained a valid Apostolic Succession and celebrate a
valid Eucharist.

As Catholics, we embrace completely and celebrate the traditional Seven Sacraments of the Church -
namely Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation (Confession), Marriage, Holy Orders (ordination of
deacons, priests and bishops) and Unction (anointing the sick).  We have also received and preserved the
teachings of, and connection to, the Apostles of Jesus through the Apostolic Succession.  Apostolic
Succession is the unbroken line of Bishops which begins with Peter and continues today.

Incarnation Independent Catholic Cathedral of The Independent Catholic Church of North America : is an
independent Catholic Church that is not affiliated with or in communion with the Roman Catholic Church nor
the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine.
